Involvement

I contributed to every stage of the project, from early concept development through final delivery. The client selected my 3D glass direction, and I collaborated with the team to develop the storyboard and create four animation shots.

Work Process

We began by developing several pitch concepts for the client to review. I focused on a 3D glass direction, using layered refractions to reveal Oktane’s icons and convey a sense of security and protection. After the client selected the concept, we refined the storyboard and brought the scenes to life in Cinema 4D.

We further developed the narrative by incorporating more of Oktane’s brand icons and exploring different possibilities within the 3D glass direction. Through more focused visual storytelling, we highlighted Oktane’s identity as secure, connected, and future-facing.

Animation Test

I was responsible for SH160–SH190, designing, building, and animating the four countdown sequences from 4 to 1.

V001 was the initial rough test I received. My goal was to transform it into a more playful and exciting animation, exploring and iterating through multiple versions along the way.

Texture & Lighting

I applied a transparent glass material to the objects and placed flat shapes with emissive materials behind them, allowing vibrant colors to reflect through the glass. I also used vertex maps and area lights to create edge highlights and precisely control the colors.
