Involvement
As Creative Director, I was involved throughout the entire process, from concept development and storyboarding to animation and compositing. I designed and animated across every shot, collaborated closely with the team to refine details, provided animation feedback to ensure smooth transitions, and coordinated with the producer on scheduling to keep the project on track and maintain quality.
Work Process
KINETIK is a creative playground that visualizes how motion design students think and experiment. The icons are inspired by everyday elements tied to motion design, such as punctuation marks, pencils, and animation parabolas, and brought to life through motion, each transformation reflecting exploration and discovery. The animation progresses through three stages: Research Mode, Play Mode, and Show Mode. In the final stage, twelve unique 3D icons merge into the word ‘KINETIK,’ symbolizing the collective creativity and vibrant energy of motion students.

Icon Design
During the logo development process, the Design Lead and I explored a range of concepts based on our key brand keywords. We developed both literal and abstract icons, from punctuation-inspired forms and sketch paper to more conceptual symbols drawn from motion design language. After 3–4 rounds of refinement, we finalized 12 distinct 3D icon models.
Final Icon Design
In addition to animation, I collaborated with the Design Lead on the title card to create twelve 3D icons, with textures designed by Valentina. Built around the theme of a “creative playground,” the icons were inspired by keywords such as “Search,” “Iteration,” and “Grow,” reflecting the different ways motion students gather inspiration and develop ideas throughout the creative process.

Design Development
I collaborated with the other directors to develop the storyboard and task sheet, and during meetings we assigned individual shots to each team member. Afterward, we organized a weekly Saturday workshop where everyone gathered at school to share progress, refine ideas, and make adjustments to the animations.
